Wow!! Thank you so much for this conversation y’all. At about 29 minutes in I had to rewind and go get my notebook to jot down some notes. This came to me at such an aligned time in my life. This conversation was affirmation that I am in fact doing the work of dismantling the ego. I wasn’t able to put a name to it until it came to me listening to this conversation. The car metaphor gave me that much needed language to really understand that I’m driving someone else’s car right now. I’m still fighting with that.
The work/purpose I have allowed myself to be assigned doesn’t feel as soul sucking as it used to, in fact it’s good, but play? No
